Position Summary:
The Social Media Specialist is a highly organized, collaborative and content‑driven self‑starter with a passion for social media and storytelling. This role supports high‑visibility social initiatives and works cross‑functionally with marketing, brand, creative, and external partners to bring content and campaigns to life.
The Specialist must demonstrate strong written communication skills, an eye for visual storytelling and working knowledge of video and design tools. They should be comfortable operating within tight timelines, managing multiple projects simultaneously and applying insights and performance data to continuously optimize content. Acting as an extension of the brand online, this individual must exercise sound decision‑making and uphold brand voice, tone and standards across all platforms.
Primary Responsibilities:

Maintain and manage the social media editorial calendar, ensuring timely execution across platforms.

Assist with content ideation, creation and execution, including short‑form video editing, basic graphic design and copywriting.

Write and edit clear, engaging, and on-brand copy for social media posts, captions, and short-form content, ensuring alignment with brand voice and messaging guidelines.

Edit and optimize video content using tools such as CapCut, with an emphasis on pacing, storytelling and platform‑specific formats.

Capture content in the field and at live events using mobile devices, including basic filming, framing, lighting and audio capture.

Schedule and publish content using social media management tools such as Sprinklr.

Monitor brand and talent channels.

Research current and emerging social media trends, audio usage and content formats and apply them in a brand‑safe, elevated way.

Ideate and recommend content and channel approaches aligned to company‑wide strategic priorities, including recommendations on voice, cadence and platform usage.

Assist in analyzing content performance using platform analytics and reporting tools; apply learnings and insights to help optimize future content.

Partner with internal and external stakeholders, including marketing, brand, creative teams, and third‑party vendors, to support organic and paid social campaigns.

Manage content‑related tasks with strong attention to detail while balancing multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.

Perform ad‑hoc social media and content‑related projects as requested by management.
Required Qualifications:

A minimum of 2-3 years of social media experience

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work in a team and assist in the execution of social media requests within an expedited timeframe

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Working knowledge of major social platforms.

Basic proficiency in video editing using tools such as CapCut.
- Skilled in using MS Office applications.
- Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred Qualifications:

Familiar with Sprinklr and Canva.
- Strong copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences and platforms.
