The In-House Sales Specialist II is responsible for leading an assigned sales team by implementing departmental procedures, driving performance, and developing talent to achieve and exceed sales objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintain operational plans for the assigned sales team and ensure adherence to departmental procedures
- Staff, plan, control, and advise a high-performing sales force of Sales Executives and sales leadership to maximize sales volume
- Supervise and lead all aspects of sales activity for a specific team
- Support sales leadership in crafting data-driven, breakthrough sales strategies and plans
- Challenge the status quo by re-evaluating processes and identifying innovative solutions through new methods and technologies to improve:
- Business results
- Customer experience
- Operational efficiency
- Cash down payments at the point of sale
- Develop team members to achieve maximum production and operational efficiency
- Consistently exceed monthly volume production targets
- Schedule and coordinate new-hire and advanced training in partnership with Training and Talent Development
- Deliver elite sales training initiatives and contribute to a monthly training calendar
- Conduct mentorship sessions and performance reviews with select Sales Executives
- Lead best-in-class sales training programs as needed
- Coach, develop, empower, monitor, and mentor sales professionals to meet current business needs and support future leadership and succession planning
- Conduct impactful and motivational morning sales meetings
- Hold the team accountable for compliance with all policies and procedures
- Drive maximum sales performance through the use of predefined performance metrics
