In this guest-facing marketing role, we station you at high-traffic visitor locations at Kings’ Shops and Queens’ Marketplace. We count on you to greet travelers, share quick local tips, and invite eligible guests to schedule a time to learn more about vacation ownership with our team. You are not closing a sale on the spot. You’re creating a great first impression and setting a quality appointment.

We offer $17.00 per hour, plus commission and bonuses governed by a compensation plan. Marketing Representatives- Retail have targeted annual earnings of $90,000 with top performers earning more based on individual results.

Schedule and Location:
Can you work when guests are out enjoying the day? This role follows visitor patterns and business needs, so we schedule shifts between 11:00am–7:30pm and include weekends and holidays. We’ll place you at Kings’ Shops and Queens’ Marketplace in Waikoloa.
As a Marketing Representative- Retail, you will be responsible for :
We keep it simple: connect, help, invite, and schedule.
- Greet visitors in a friendly, respectful way and start short conversations
- Ask what guests love most about their trip and share quick recommendations for dining, shopping, and local highlights around Waikoloa
- Provide useful information about Hawai‘i Island—beaches, scenic drives, cultural sites, family-friendly activities, and planning tips using approved resources
- When available, share eligible offers, promotions, or discounts using approved materials (accuracy and compliance matter!)
- Invite eligible guests to interact directly to discover more about vacation ownership
- Schedule guest appointments for presentations and previews (plus mini-vacation packages when applicable) and clearly explain where to go, when to arrive, and what to expect
- Enter accurate guest/appointment info into basic systems (tablet, iPad, or PC), keep your space organized, and work toward daily and weekly goals with coaching
We often hire from retail, kiosks/booths, promotions, customer service, hospitality, food & beverage, call centers, or business development. Experience with metrics, goals, and incentive-based pay is beneficial. Strong Hawai‘i Island knowledge is also a plus. Previous timeshare/vacation ownership experience can help—but we’re happy to train the right person.
To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Proficiency in English, speaking, reading, writing
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills, confident learning new systems
