As a Lead Maintenance Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Undertake Daily Supervision of Maintenance Team. Lead by example and motivate your team to strive for excellence in all maintenance operations.
- Implementation of Safety Standards: Ensure compliance with all company statutory and legal requirements, including fire, health and safety, hygiene, and local by-laws.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping, work closely with the housekeeping team to prioritise and coordinate maintenance activities, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
- Prompt Response to Enquiries: Address all maintenance enquiries promptly and effectively.
- Conduct Maintenance Repair Work: Undertake maintenance repairs with strict adherence to safety protocols, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Maintain Green Areas and Car Parks: When applicable, ensure these areas are well-maintained and presentable.
- Follow and implement planned preventative maintenance programs to prevent issues before they arise.
- Cultivate Relationships to build and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external customers and contractors.
- Implement Energy Conservation Initiatives aimed at conserving energy and reducing waste.
- Adhere to C.O.S.H.H Regulations regarding the storage and handling of hazardous substances.
- Assist in the training and development of the maintenance team to ensure continuous improvement and efficiency.

- Excellent communication Skills, to effectively communicate with team members and guests.
- Excellent Grooming Standards and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
- Be flexible and adaptable to various work situations and challenges.
- Capable of working independently or as part of a team.
Preferred Experience
While not mandatory, the following will be advantageous:
- Previous maintenance experience in electrical, plumbing, or painting and decorating.
- Possession of any qualifications relevant to the role is beneficial.
