We are looking for a Team Member to join our AR and Collections Team. The ideal candidate will have an aptitude to working with figures and must be familiar with using Microsoft Packages (proficient in word, excel and outlook). It would be an advantage (although not essential as full training will be given) if you have previous experience in bank reconciliations, administering and processing direct debit payments with knowledge of ADDACS/ARRUD and AUDDIS. WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
Under general direction, the AR and Collections Specialist will be working within a multi-task, fast-paced environment providing support to our European Members/Owners.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Manage the Diamond Resorts Financial Services Annual/Monthly/Sales Direct Debit cycle
• Processing new direct debit applications
• Process the AUDDIS, ADDACS, and ARRUD notification reports daily to maintain members and owners loan accounts within Clarity, in line with BACS regulations
• Reconcile the company bank accounts to ensure that the payments received and the unpaid/returned direct debits are posted against the members and owners account in Clarity are up-to-date & correct
• Communicate with members/owners who have either cancelled their direct debit instruction or failed to make payment in order to resolve any issues & to collect payment of the now overdue amount
• Process Credit/Debit card payments
• Banking monies received which will include different currencies into the relevant bank accounts and produce banking memos to show same
• Processing of payments (which consist of but are not limited to cash, cheques, bank transfers, direct debits, and payments received from finance companies)
• Reconcile payments received, banked, and posted to owners/members accounts
• Administer, monitor and manage the companies No Pay No Stay policy
• Conduct outbound call campaigns as required
• Pro-actively deliver excellent customer service
• Provide regular reporting on direct debit collection to the management team
EXPERIENCE
- Prior experience of working in an office environment using Microsoft applications
- Knowledge of Direct Debit Processing and BACS Scheme Rules advantageous
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not include any supervisory responsibilities.

This position requires the capability to understand and follow both oral and written directions as well as knowledge and usage of correct business English and office practices. Must be able to communicate effectively with others, analyse and resolve problems, maintain effective working relationships, and interact successfully with internal and external customers.
Specific skills and abilities include, but are not limited to the following:
• Understanding of Vacation Ownership industry advantageous but not essential
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal as you will be dealing with internal and external customers.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook and Zoom
• Customer focused, demonstrate good customer care skills (work methodically and efficiently to maintain a high level of customer service) and be driven to delivering excellent customer service
• Proficient in time management; the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
• Be a Team Player, using sound judgement to work independently, working with minimal supervision
• To be able to plan, organise and prioritise workload to achieve deadlines.
• To be able to deal with tasks quickly and efficiently, as well as with accuracy and great attention to detail
• Be able to work within a multi-task environment
• Ability to take initiative and effectively adapt to changes
• Able to establish and maintain a cooperative working relation
• Able to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature, with impending deadlines and/or established timeframes

SCHEDULE
· 37 hours per week
· 8.5 hour shifts (including 1 hour unpaid break)
· 5 days over 7, between the hours of 8am-8pm
