Kitchen Porter – Full Time 39 hours per week £12.71 per hour
As a Kitchen Porter, you will be essential in maintaining cleanliness and smooth operation in our back of house areas. Your tasks will include:
- Operate pot-washing machinery and maintain a hygienic working environment in accordance with hygiene regulations and company standards
- Carry out general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, washing up, emptying rubbish bins and boxes, and ensuring the bin area is clean and tidy
- Ensure the accurate PPE is in place and guidelines are strictly adhered to
- Observe COSHH guidelines when handling hazardous substances and align with all Health and Safety requirements
- Report any maintenance or hazard issues to the supervisor on duty
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong dedication to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
- The capability to adhere to rigorous health and safety guidelines
- Strong communication abilities and the capacity to collaborate effectively within a group
- A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
- Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
• Previous kitchen experience in similar role
• Knowledge of Basic Food Hygiene
