The position will be responsible for accounting functions of Japan resort association(s) and support consumption/accommodation tax filing.
Housing owners associations represent owners’ interests in properties which fulfills roles of managing, maintenance and smooth day to day running of properties. The accounting position will be responsible to support creation of Financial statements, invoices, transactions tax , reconciliations, settlements and audit support to Japan property HOAs.
The role will involve the following activities:
- Capture of accounting entry for transactions
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations
- Maintain Billback spreadsheets

Tax related matters (e.g. consumption tax review, calculation and tax return filing for accommodation tax)

Audit support

Credit card reconciliations

Month end accruals and closing entries

Reporting and analysis

Enquiries, record keeping, project support
Qualifications:
- 3 years accounting experience
- BA/BS/Bachelor’s Degree
- 3-5 years of related experience
- Japanese native level; English level – writing and reading
