As an In House Sales Director you will be responsible for generating maximum sales efficiencies, while maintaining or exceeding targeted net sales volume. Promotes and supports all aspects of the branded HGVC culture. Assists with the supervision of a sales line through mentoring, modeling, and reinforcing effective sales and customer service practices, behaviors, and results. Maintains a professional and personal image that upholds the HGVC standards of integrity, quality and service to customers. Interviews, trains, supervises, counsels, schedules and evaluates staff.
- Ensures the integrity of the quality assurance function for the location
- Develops compensation programs that empower and attract quality sales oriented people while meeting or exceeding the goals of HGV.
- Develops special contests and other programs that help to balance the inventory control mix of the project while maintaining a motivational environment for the staff.
- Responsible for the scheduling of all sales meetings, sales training, and awards luncheons/banquets. Manages/conducts training as vital.
- Assures accurate scheduling of staff.
- Helps craft innovative tracking systems for the sales and administrative functions.
- Builds a team environment that supports HGV’s corporate culture.
- Assists in the preparation of sales forecasts and plans and monitors actual sales and administrative costs against plan figures. Makes appropriate adjustments to ensure that plan results are met or exceeded.
- Assures that all new contracts are completed accurately, and processed accordingly.
- Promotes cross training of support staff and crafts an atmosphere of upward mobility for all employees to strive for as it relates to their career paths.
- Supervises the preparation of the sales rotation as required.
- Works with the various Marketing Departments to ensure the accurate number of qualified vacation counselors are trained and available to tour the highly qualified guests at each tour time, based on rotation results.
- Assists in the creation of new marketing programs and the adjustment of existing programs, including the Discovery Vacation Program, to improve the results in both the Sales and Marketing Departments.
- Carries out any reasonable request by management of which the employee is capable of performing.
- Responsible for training and mentoring internal candidates for future management positions and identifying prospective candidates for future leadership positions.

- High School Diploma/GED
- Demonstrates the belief that all guests should be treated with the utmost respect and dignity, whether they choose to purchase or choose not to purchase.
- Strong ability to recruit, train and empower individuals in the field of direct sales.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
- Demonstrated ability of five years’ experience in Timeshare Sales Management and direct line sales.
