Position Overview
The In House Director of Sales will be responsible for assisting the Vice President of Sales in planning, directing, while providing the leadership necessary to deal with the short term and long term business objectives for In House business for a specific site and/or sales center for HGV. In addition this position will be responsible for providing guidance, direction, and accountability in producing the expected performance while constantly striving to maintain a positive work environment for all employees within all departments.

- Base salary starting at $85,000 annually (negotiable commensurate with experience), plus performance-based bonuses in accordance with the company’s compensation plan.

Additional responsibilities include:
- Directs, coordinates, and staffs the In House sales operation.
- Works in coordination with the action line Sales Managers on the development of Sales Programs to be implemented at specific resort or sales center.
- Delivers results by meeting targeted sales goals, budget management, staff and personal development.
- Participates in weekly meetings and is proactive in developing the HGV sales training culture.
- Directs the hiring and development of the leadership talent necessary to achieve the resort sales goals.
- Communicates all necessary information in a timely fashion to the Regional VP.
- Supports and maintains a consistent, HGV training program(s) utilizing the management talent on site.
- Schedules management and sales executives in a manner that will create a smooth flow and process to achieve company goals.
- Leads the sales operation with a constancy of purpose striving to maintain our corporate vision and culture.
- Anticipates the needs of the operation and the customer.
- Creates a synergistic environment with all departments.
- Constantly strives to operate the Sales department profitably. (NOTE: Always seeking the most efficient ways to operate the sales function.)
- Directs the planning, organization, and coordination of all In House sales meetings.
- Leads and motivates through mutual respect and operational excellence.
- Creates sales contests that motivate the sales teams.
- Responsible for recruiting, staffing, succession planning and inventory management.
- Other duties as requested by management in which the team member is capable of performing.
To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to acquire an active Hawaii Real Estate License.

4+ years proven successful track record of directing an sales division or department
- Experience gained through increasingly responsible management positions within vacation ownership sales.
- Must have prior experience with action line programs.

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
