As the Common Area Attendant, you will be in charge of ensuring all public areas are clean and maintained according to standards. Provides excellence in service for guests and owners while on the property, responding to guest inquiries and needs. Follows brand standards at all times. Schedule Details:
Our Housekeeping Department operates 7 days per week. The work schedule will be assigned 8 hours shifts between 6 am – 11 pm including weekends and Holidays.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Clean guest corridors, stairwells, guest units, offices, and public areas, including vacuuming, carpet cleaning, and deep cleaning.
- Strip checkout rooms, remove trash, and transport clean and dirty linens.
- Replenish linens, guest amenities, and public area supplies; assist with inventory control.
- Complete guest deliveries and requests promptly, ensuring items are clean and in good working condition.
- Maintain and inspect guest-use equipment (cribs, high chairs, Pack ’n Plays, and bed rails) for safety and availability.
- Keep storage areas organized, secure, and properly stocked.
- Handle lost and found items according to company procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness of lobbies, restrooms, fitness center, pool deck, and other public spaces.
- Report maintenance issues, repair needs, and safety hazards promptly.
- Provide friendly, professional guest service and information about resort amenities and local attractions.
- Assist with furniture moves and other departmental duties as assigned.
- Safely lift up to 75 lbs. and push/pull carts up to 150 lbs. while following all safety and quality standards.

To fulfill this role optimally, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
- Able to lift up to 75lbs, and push/pull carts of 150lbs.
- Basic language communication skills in order to communicate both verbally and in writing with guests, owners and co-workers, and fully comprehend job assignments.
- Physically able to work from ladders, move furniture, operate cleaning equipment, and tolerate exposure to general cleaning chemicals.
- Ability to tolerate environmental factors such as humidity, cold/heat, dust and noise.
It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- High school/GED
- 1-3 years of related experience.
- Prior housekeeping experience in hospitality.
