As a Reservations Support Specialist, you play a vital role in supporting internal servicing teams and ensuring the organization maintains the tour and room inventory required to meet and exceed budgeted goals. The position focuses on acquiring additional tour and hotel inventory while applying strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills to maximize availability and operational efficiency.
You will also collaborate closely with the data entry department to manage transactional reservation communications with contracted hotel partners. This includes processing booking, verification, and cancellation requests across multiple booking channels, as well as securing additional inventory when needed to support business demands.
Schedule: Variable work shifts, which will include evenings, weekends, and holidays (Monday through Sunday, 9 am to 9 pm). Consecutive days off during the week day. This is an on-site position.
Responsibilities:

Handle an array of phone calls and written requests from internal departments, such as requests for checking availability, asking for additional hotel/resort or tour inventory, assistance with creating/changing packages.

Use Salesforce to effectively record, track, and solve reservation requests/issues received from sales and servicing departments

Ensure all guests have adequate accommodation in a timely manner by sending daily hotel manifests, following up on any missing or un-returned manifests, and completing reassignments to other comparable properties as needed

Book, modify, and cancel reservations in various systems and online booking portals.

Responsible for item maintenance, such as monitoring/opening/closing allotments, identifying missing records for costs and rates, updating item details, etc.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required

Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Computer proficient

Detail oriented, able to handle multiple projects, adhere to deadlines, exceptional problem solving and follow up skills

Customer service, hospitality, data entry, and/or call center experience a plus
