Leads the strategic rental revenue initiatives, managing high-level account relationships, forecasting, and team performance to maximize profitability. Key duties include developing rental sales strategies, managing client relationships, analyzing market trends, and driving growth in rental and group. Coordinates all sales efforts across the brand enterprise with expertise in all market segments.
Works directly with Revenue and Reservations to maximize revenue opportunities for each property and destination.
Works directly with HGV Legal and Sales teams for contract negotiations across all segments.
Develops process and procedures for group market flow including inventory use.
Coordinates written and verbal correspondence from internal and external clients as well as from owners and guests regarding rental
Works closely with front office, Hilton Reservations Call Center, and revenue management to handle special requests and resolve customer issues.
Establishes budget and ensure cohesion throughout the year to ensure correct spend and capture
Works directly with Rental Marketing to ensure market penetration and proper branding
Ensure proper technology and systems are in place for efficiencies and use
Works directly with Revenue Management for Strategic initiatives to drive revenue through contracted channels
Work as Brand Performance ambassador to ensure reporting
Assists in the implementation of rental operations best practicies including but not limited to devising written procedures, training and coaching reservations counselors, and disseminating procedures and information to other departments .
Works closely with Operations to ensure understanding of product and policies
Develop new markets when new products are added
Manages personnel functions such as selection, orientation, performance reviews, discipline, counseling, and scheduling.
Maintains a positive cooperative work environment between staff and management.
Helps develop management talent by acting as a mentor for direct reports.
Promotes team member empowerment.
Ensures team members fully understand performance standards, policies and procedures, and appearance standards.
Monitors payroll hours and reports.
Attends management meetings and conducts departmental meetings.
Reviews regular reporting through systems to ensure data capture
May be required to do other duties and special projects for Vice President of Revenue Management
4-year college degree preferred
Hilton Experience preferred
Minimum 8-year customer service management experience or group sales experience in a large-scale, high-volume hotel or multi-property environment
Computer experience required with advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook software.
