[Position Statement]
Specialist, Talent Acquisition is focused on bringing high potential candidates to join HGV for a dynamic career. As a successful leader in this role, you are well connected in the commercial talent communities, continually on a quest to network and search to find great talents and are looking in spaces that others miss. You are laser focused on the talent needs, can match the business needs with your pool of sources. You translate, match and influence Hilton Grand Vacation’s vision and values, complimenting talent with our organization.
[Position Summary]

Support applicants and hiring managers effectively through the whole hiring process (paper screening, scheduling, interview, hiring manager feedback, offer letter, Day 1 confirmation etc.)

Have and build a broad network of multilingual talents. This can be current people who have the temperament to be successful in a role

Work with recruiting vendors/agencies to effectively generate many applicants and hire targeted number of people in a timely manner.

Review the leads from various applications, and work with the Human Resources and Talent acquisition team to adjust the language / location / channel of postings in order to maximize lead traffic.

Draw upon your talent network pool and lead prospective applicants through the application process..

For corporate generated applications, contact applicants and review their match to the role.

Keep the conversation going and constantly engages leads

Work with and update Department heads and managers to incorporate candidate follow-up results on future planning and actions.

Engage with hiring managers and your own manager to understand what is working and what is not working.

Analyze various recruiting resources including jobboards, career sites and other hiring approaches and work on solutions to improve recruiting

Lead, organize and coordinate hiring events to expand candidates pool and build pipelines

Work in coordination with global teams in Hawaii and US mainland for TA initiatives, projects, data reporting and analysis.
Attend global TA meetings for Departments in charge and update recruitment status and planning
[Required Qualifications]
High School/GED
English and Japanese Bilingual (both business level)
Excellent computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Experience in using at least 2 major Japanese job boards
Ability to travel locally to attend trainings and job fairs
[Preferred Qualifications]
Bachelors Degree
Able to adapt and learn a new program/application quickly
