What Will I Be Doing?
As a Supervisor, you will lead front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth daily activities. Your key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate bar operations to ensure efficient guest interactions and a smooth workflow.
- Align departmental activities with established policies and procedures to maintain consistency.
- Train team members on food quality, sanitation, safety, and service standards to uphold high standards.
- Lead the department effectively in the absence of the F&B Manager, ensuring continuity.
- Participate in daily operations and respond promptly to guest and owner inquiries.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of menu items, beverages, and alcohol regulations.
- Supervise the accurate collection of monies at various outlets to ensure financial integrity.
- Resolve guest concerns and manage inventory, supply, and staffing issues efficiently.
- Provide special services to owners and guests as advised to enhance their experience.
- Maintain effective communication and coordination with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Assist with administrative duties such as budget control, scheduling, and purchasing supplies.
- Ensure the completion of daily checklists and accurate shift closings by all F&B associates.
- Adhere to HGVC standards consistently to ensure the successful performance of this position.
What Are We Looking For?
To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- 3-5 years of related experience required.
- Driver’s License.
It would be beneficial to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- BA/BS Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 5-7 years of related experience preferred.
- 2+ years of management or supervisory experience preferred.
- TIP’s or similar certification preferred.
- Food Handler Certification preferred.
