Season Runs: May 1st – end of September
The (Seasonal) Pool Attendant will be responsible for driving the company’s success through performing the following tasks:
- Take the initiative to greet each guest immediately in a friendly/sincere warm acknowledgment. Providing exceptional customer service to every guest, including information about resort services, activities and local attractions
- Collect and replenish pool towels and monitor inventory to minimize loss while ensuring towels are stocked and dirty towels are removed. Maintain cleanliness of the fitness center and activities center
- Maintain cleanliness of the restrooms
- Trash removal
- Display professional image at all times through appearance and positive conduct, willing to “pitch-in” and help co- workers with their job duties and be outstanding teammates
What are we looking for:
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to details; enjoyment of cleaning having a strong sense of responsibility, reliability and integrity. Teamwork and collaboration.
- Physically able to work from ladders, move furniture, operate cleaning equipment, and tolerate exposure to general cleaning chemicals.
- Can tolerate environmental factors such as humidity, cold/heat, dust and noise. Ability to push and/or pull equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Able to efficiently perform basic arithmetic operations (add, subtract, multiply, and divide)
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Resort/hotel hospitality environment
- Standard cash register experience with a basic understanding of opening and closing procedures
- CPR Certification and First Aid certification
