Supervisor Housekeeping, provides excellent service to guests and owners during their stay, being proactive and responsive to guests’ concerns and inquiries. Provides leadership and guidance to team members throughout the shift. Conduct that demonstrates commitment and dedication to our Spirit of Service culture and our company values is always expected.
Responsibilities:
- Supervises housekeeping operations to include rooms, common area and heart of the house areas to achieve and maintain the resort’s high standards of cleanliness.
- Supervises projects and processes.
- Perform daily room inspections
- Assist with morning meetings with staff
- Ensure rooms are cleaned to standard and in a timely manner
- Train and coach existing and new staff daily
- Follow up with Inspectors/tress, Housekeepers, Public Space Attendants, and House Attendants with completion of assigned tasks
- Set up daily work assignments to achieve the daily goals efficiently
- Assist with any guest related issues with room quality
- Clean guest rooms
- Keep linen huts clean and organized
- Deep cleaning and general cleaning of rooms during non-peak season
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and maintenance procedures, write routine reports and correspondence, speak effectively before groups of guests and team members as needed.
- Demonstrate basic mathematical skills, and ability to solve practical problems.
- Understand and comply with a variety of instructions in written and oral form.
- Demonstrate good judgment and decision-making skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Provides guidance and directions to subordinates.
- Regular attendance in keeping with guidelines established by the company and site are essential to the successful performance of this position.

- Completes all required Company training/compliance courses as assigned.
- Adheres to Company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures.

- Minimum 2-3 years Supervisory Experience
- Housekeeping Experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests
- Physically able to work from ladders, move furniture, operate cleaning equipment, and tolerate exposure to general cleaning chemicals.
- Ability to tolerate environmental factors such as humidity, cold/heat, dust and noise
