Coordinate various markets within the East Business Unit as the experienced and enthusiastic Regional Director of Retail Marketing. Proficiency in the Timeshare/Vacation Ownership Industry, along with critical thinking and team-building abilities, is vital for this position.
Reporting to the VP of Retail Marketing, the Regional Director will lead, develop, and empower a team that typically includes 2-4 Area Directors and 20-50 indirect reports, managing all aspects of a profitable business across multiple markets. This role will align with the strategic objectives set for the region and act as an essential link between the field and corporate, collaborating with different departments to improve experiences for both internal and external clients.
Regional Directors are tasked with cultivating a culture of high performance and engagement while identifying and developing the next generation of leaders. Building and retaining a strong leadership team is essential, along with the ability to recruit, train, and keep top talent motivated.
This position will be based in a cluster market within the East Business Unit.
Specific Duties, Activities, and Responsibilities:**
- Deliver top-notch customer care, set an example for Area Directors, and build strong relationships with retail partners.
- Develop and implement plans to exceed business targets while aligning with Area Directors’ expectations.
- Provide Area Directors with tools for store profitability and analyze production reports to guide action plans.
- Ensure brand standards, dress code compliance, and develop a skilled team to meet business goals.
- Collaborate on staffing strategies, offer coaching, and identify growth opportunities.
- Guide onboarding, training, and succession planning while fostering a positive workplace.
- Enforce company policies, manage payroll, and ensure hiring regulation compliance.
- Participate in meetings, training, and workshops; cover Area Director duties and complete projects, with over 50% travel willingness.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, with 4 years in marketing management and 2 years in sales.
- Preferred familiarity with the timeshare industry or OPC marketing.
- Proficiency in MS Office, strong presentation and interpersonal skills, brand integrity commitment, adaptability, and strong analytical skills.
- Proven ability to motivate a large team toward sales goals.
