We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Beachwoods Resort. This outstanding 150 rooms resort is a hidden gem and a year-round destination in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Tucked between the Atlantic Ocean and Albemarle Sound in the middle of a 100-acre Maritime Forest, the resort is surrounded by lakes, woodlands, wetlands, rolling dunes and wildlife. This is a phenomenal opportunity to work in a beautiful setting and being part of an extraordinary team environment. A career as an experienced Maintenance Technician entails maintaining the guestrooms, public spaces, and back-of-the-house areas in good repair ensuring an attractive and well-maintained property with your primary focus on guest relations and problem resolution.

What will I be doing?
- Complete maintenance and facilities tasks from work orders.
- Repair and maintain the physical structure of the establishment.
- Repairs plumbing, pumps, exhaust fans, and HVAC equipment.
- Conduct accurate building rounds and maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Completes special projects as assigned.
Schedule Details:
Our Maintenance Department operates 7 days per week. The Maintenance Technician may work varying shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in maintenance
- Can climb stairs and work on ladders up to 40 feet, push/pull up to 100 lbs., lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following certifications:
- EPA – OSHA 10-30 – CPO (HGV will assist you with obtaining)
