The Sales Training Specialist is responsible for representing Hilton Grand Vacations, ensuring member/guest happiness, and managing quality of product and service delivery. To promote a positive workplace where the sales executives feel confident that they will have the proper training and tools to succeed. To reinforce the HGV Core values.
What will I be doing?
- Reports to the Director of Training and works hand and hand on Training initiatives.
- Is passionate about training new hires.
- Prepare and complete action plans/goals and enforce customer-service standards. Responsible for resolving sales executives’ issues/concerns within the first 180 days.
- Hold a 30-60-90 day trench training for all new hires, dissecting the process and taking an in-depth look at the psychology behind the sale.
- Responsible for doing ride a long’s, ride reports, and speaking to Sales Executives and Sales Managers
- Run weekly sales numbers for each sales executive and review for follow up and performance planning.
- Implement the Hilton Grand Vacations’ sales process and steps of the sale.
- Responsible for releasing all new hires to the floor once they have passed testing and the last ride reviewed and approved by Sales Manager
- Provide one on one counseling with new hires to help them understand the sales process outside of a group setting.
- Keep sales executives `up to date with inventory changes, new program benefits/changes. Provide tools to aid in the success of their sales process.
- Provide follow-up training weekly, monthly and 1 year after hire date.
- Implement ways to increase employee retention.
- Provide ethical training motivated by our core values.
- Reduce cancellations by providing effective tools.
- Promote career pathing by employee retention.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5 Branded sales experience.
- Be responsible for training of new hires
- 3 years Sales Training experience.
- Ability to work flexible schedule.
- Professional appearance
- Master a thorough understanding of HGV’s different departments for proper customer assistance.
- Proficient at Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

- Bachelor’s Degree
