What will I be doing?
As the Cook II, you will be responsible for preparing appetizers, soups, salads, entrees, desserts and other food items. You will provide oversight and coaching to Cooks III & IV and work in various stations in the kitchen.

Schedule Details:
Our Food & Beverage Department operates 7 days per week – Cooks will work shifts ranging between 6:30am through 9:30pm.
Additional Responsibilities Include:
- Prepare appetizers, soups, salads, entrees, desserts and other food items.
- Maintain 100% quality food production at all times and meet timing of food items as required by guest/supervisor including the timely and complete set up of culinary equipment,
- Maintain, organize, and rotate inventory; to include purchasing and receiving products daily and assist in the controlling of food costs.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations: Maintain a clean and safe working area, including refrigeration and work cleanly and neatly; setting good examples for other cooks.
- Teach, coach, and assist all other cooks in all aspects of cooking and able to work a variety of stations at the property dependent on business needs.
- Anticipate problems and notify management or Cook 1 and maintain proper communication with supervisors and co-workers.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of three (3) years related kitchen experience.
- Valid (or be able to obtain) Hawaii Food Handler's Card (ServSafe)
- Must possess (or be able to obtain) Hawaii Dept. of Health Tuberculosis Clearance Certification.
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Previous hotel/hospitality culinary experience in similar position in a hotel environment highly preferred.
- Completion of a formal culinary training or apprenticeship program
- Excellent customer service skills
