The Senior Director, Talent Acquisition provides consultative leadership in the development, implementation and assessment of recruitment and talent acquisition strategy, policy and practice. The Senior Director of Talent Acquisition also provides daily oversight of teams to ensure full-cycle recruitment needs are cost-effective, efficient and competitive in drawing top talent to Hilton Grand Vacations.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivers pro-active, cost-effective recruiting strategies to attract a highly qualified, diverse group of candidates.
- Provides strategic leadership and expert consultation to clients on sourcing and selection.
- Leads and develops a team to deliver valuable recruiting services throughout all phases of the recruiting cycle from selection and recruiting through the on-boarding process.
- Designs programs to create brand awareness which include relationship initiatives.
- Leads and assess Talent Acquisition expenditures.
- Establishes and develops effective external recruiting sources to ensure qualified candidate pool including but not limited to interactive media (i.e. social networking).
- Provides coaching and training to management on selection processes.
- Leads, assess and tracks hiring activity metrics and assessment tool usage and results. Assigns projects and prioritizes activities within Talent Acquisition department
- Trains and supports field hiring managers on hiring standard processes (facilitate best practice workshops) as well as applicable Federal and state labor laws & compliance.
- Collaborates with the operational/regional HRBP team to drive retention of our best talent
- Identify metrics, establish standards, set objectives, and audit operational efficiency.
- Ensures the detailed collection and analysis of measurement data (cost per hire, applicant flow data, sourcing channels, etc) in order to make operational/business decisions that affect both staffing and continuous process improvement.

- Dedicated recruitment background in a large organization, hospitality and sales environment.
- Strong analytics and ability to analyze business data with a track record of successful implementation
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with all levels of the organization
- Strong relationship builder.
- Ability to change search strategies quickly to accommodate changes in business strategies and resulting talent needs
Experience required
- BA/BS/bachelor’s degree
- 7+ years of experience leading talent acquisition teams.
- 2+ years of management or supervisory experience.
Preferred experience
- MA/MS/master’s degree
- Previous sales and marketing talent acquisition experience.
