What will I be doing?
Want to make a direct impact on the success of Hilton Grand Vacations? This role may be the right next step! We are looking for a Business Analytics Analyst – Resort Operations Business Operations. This stellar employee will work with the Senior Manager on descriptive and predictive analysis supporting the Resort and Club operations.
Position Summary:
- Work with Senior Manager to support Senior Executives with data mining and analysis requirements
- Create financial and statistical modeling
- Analyze data and derive insights from developed models, report out on findings, and make actionable recommendations
- Perform descriptive and predictive analysis using Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Python
- Work on special projects, initiatives, and day-to-day activities
- Support the Senior Director in identifying key drivers for the annual budget, monthly forecasting, and quarterly business review process
- Fulfill ad-hoc requests and questions from leaders and many company-wide business units
- Work with Senior Manager to provide data support in a timely manner, create/enhance reports, and on-demand dashboards

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, and/or Industrial Engineering related field
- 5+years of experience in business support, analytics & financial modeling
- Proficient in Tableau/Power BI/ Looker, SQL, Excel, and the ability to transform data into insights
- Data preprocessing, exploratory data analysis, and data visualization
- High level of business knowledge and ability to understand and communicate in common business language
- Strong Team Building, Critical Thinking, and Problem-solving skills are a must-have
Preferred Qualifications
- Master of Data Analytics or a related field is preferred
- R, Cognos, BigQuery, and AutoML are a plus
- Tableau certification
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with senior leadership on a consistent basis
- Timeshare experience related to Resort Operations and Club is a plus
