What Will I be Doing?
The Sr Manager Application Development is responsible for the enhancement and continuous improvement of business-critical applications. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver, always seeking ways to elevate systems and processes. This role involves establishing forward-thinking processes, enforcing policies, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement to deliver high-impact solutions. The Senior Manager, Development will champion innovation and drive improvements to ensure stability and optimal performance of supported applications. A commitment to collaborative problem-solving, identifying impactful solutions, sophisticated design, and delivering quality products is essential. You are responsible for driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Brings a strong technical background with a deep understanding of both UI and backend development, staying fully informed of the latest technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and best practices within the team.
- Provides technical leadership to the Web and UI team, driving the enhancement and optimization of HGV applications and services
- Translates business requirements and functional specifications into technical specifications and ensure that implementations meet specifications and quality standards
- Implements core components with software development best practices
- Holds design and code reviews
- Prioritizes Defect backlog, plan, and deploy solutions to defects and problems and apply fixes as necessary (planned and ad-hoc) across ITG applications
- resources and putting solutions in place on an expedited basis
- Improves functioning by automating manual processes
- Other responsibilities and projects as business and department needs arise
What Are We Looking For:

To fulfill this role successfully, the individual should possess the following qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience:
- 10-15 years related experience
- 5+ years supervisory experience
- Solid understanding of infrastructure and database systems
- Good understanding of Angular, MVC, Web API
- Proficiency in SQL, Web Technologies, Microsoft Azure, IIS
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Strong problem solving skills
- Occasional travel
