The Hotel Reservations Specialist provides exceptional service to hotel guests through phone and email interactions, processing reservation and payment transactions, and providing information and assistance to enhance guest enjoyment of their vacation experience. This is open to the Orlando & Las Vegas area only.
What will I be doing?
- Service a large volume of inbound and outbound calls and emails from hotel guests, process transactions in the reservation’s system with accuracy and attention to detail, delivering exceptional customer service in a friendly, personalized manner
- Provide accurate, comprehensive information and recommendations about our properties, products, and services
- Use personalized discovery and conversion techniques to increase transactions that generate company revenue and guest satisfaction
- Respond to Owner emails and requests for call-backs within established response time standards
- Takes personal ownership to resolve issues and complaints by thoroughly researching the issue, identifying solution options, advancing to a Supervisor if applicable and ensuring resolution is implemented in a timely manner.
What are we looking for?
- A positive, professional individual with a friendly, service-oriented demeanor
- Outstanding written, listening, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to access, read, and accurately input data in a moderately sophisticated computer system
- Ability to make accurate mathematical calculations using a 10-key calculator
- Ability to effectively prioritize and adapt to change within a fast-paced business environment
- Ability to handle and diffuse problem situations with courtesy, empathy, and a solution driven approach
- Ability to switch between multiple systems and software programs to complete all work processes
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Must live in the Las Vegas area
