As a HR Business Partner Manager, you will be serving as a trusted and collaborative advisor, providing insights, proactive, practical advice and coaching to people leaders and teams within a regional market.
This role also serves as the strategic partner to the HR function to ensure that enterprise-wide HR initiatives are in alignment with and in support of People and Business objectives- with heavy focus on Talent Management (Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development) to attract, develop, and retain talent.
You will be the mentor for a team of recruiters to achieve sourcing and hiring targets, navigate through systems and processes, and execute Talent Acquisition initiatives to meet business needs. You will be seen as the local Talent Acquisition subject matter expert, savvy in all TA systems/tools and will represent TA in department meetings.

- Manages, develops, and drives the implementation of HR strategies and initiatives that align with the business priorities and goals.
- Engages HR functional experts (Centers of Excellence) to provide operational support for the business, as needed. Brings together cross-functional teams to achieve a common goal (e.g. new project openings). Acts as a liaison to ensure quality work is delivered in a collaborative approach.
- Leads efforts to leverage technology and develop effective tools and processes for recruiting, retaining, developing, and on-boarding diverse talent.
- Guides and coaches managers on how to effectively manage and resolve complex management issues including how to navigate critical and complex conversations. (e.g., performance management, rewards, separations).
- Partners with stakeholders to develop and deliver legal, diversity, change management and employment related training.
- Act as project manager for assigned HR initiatives and special projects (e.g., employee survey action planning, performance management, talent planning, compensation planning, career development, and organization design).
- Partners with local HR leadership, corporate resources, and business Leaders to build learning strategies, programs, materials customized to the Asia region to enhance performance and positively impact productivity.
- Support applicants through the interview process (scheduling, hiring manager feedback, offer letter, Day 1 confirmation)
- Responsible for handling “high profile” position requisitions and manages requisitions during times of high demand to support Talent Acquisition team as needed.
- Engages with hiring managers and analyze data/statistics to assess what is working and what is not working.
- Coordinates with regional leaders in a creation / review of a 90-day recruitment forecast.
- Represents Talent Acquisition in department meetings, provides data/analytics to highlight trends/areas of opportunity, reports on progress and ensures Talent Acquisition efforts are aligned with stakeholder needs.
- Serves as the liaison between U.S. Mainland, Hawaii and Asia to ensure alignment of systems, processes and use of global programs and tools. Provides insights and/or translation of Asian culture and labor laws for awareness and consistency as needed.
- Carry out all other reasonable requests made by management of which the person is capable of performing.
