The Maintenance & Engineering Manager is responsible for the daily execution of all Maintenance related responsibilities and systems for our HGV property, including the supervision and coordination of installation and repair of all electrical, mechanical and architectural systems throughout the facility.

Additional Responsibilities Include:
- Assist the Chief/Assistant Chief Engineer and other Department Heads in maintaining the overall HGV facility, including general appearance and upkeep of the facility, adherence to customer service, brand and service standards while maintaining operational and financial efficiencies.
- Responsible for general back-of-the-house (BOH) maintenance and care. Coordinates activities with other hotel departments in order to facilitate increased levels of communication and guest satisfaction.
- Conducts routine property inspections to identify issues, monitors property work order system and ensures prompt fulfillment of work orders.
- Works directly with the on-site Management team to ensure proper training, staffing, and team member engagement.
- Plans and facilitates upkeep, renovation and enhancement projects, assists with capital planning, establishment and control of the annual budget, and negotiation of contracts between hotel and outside contractors, etc.
- Carries out any reasonable request by management of which the employee is capable of performing.

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
- High School Diploma/GED
- 3+ years of related experience
- 2+ years of supervisory experience
- Valid Driver’s License
- Able to work flexible schedules including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Technical Diploma
- Experience in a maintenance role in a resort setting
