As the HR Business Partner Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing front-facing HR support to Team Members. You will be working with the appropriate centers of excellence and/or HR Contact Center (At Your Service) to resolve challenges that Team Members may face to allow them to quickly re-engage in their work.
The successful candidate will be proactive on advising, providing insights and resources, while driving consistency and follow up in HR processes.
The HRBP Specialist collaborates with HR Business Partner on activities that align client’s strategies & plans with HGV organizational goals.

Schedule Details:
This position will be on-site 5 days a week Monday through Friday.
Additional Responsibilities Include:
TEAM MEMBER SUPPORT
- Ensures continuity across the organization of HR practices and facilitates local HR processes on site.
- Assist Team Members in navigating through the organization, engaging in intake to find solutions and resources for their problems.
- Guides and coaches team members on how to effectively manage and resolve issues including how to navigate difficult conversations.
- Supports organizational change initiatives ensuring successful team member transitions.
- Responsible for the administration, security, confidentiality, and retention of team member records.
- Investigates and follows up on escalated employee relations issues and serves as the liaison to the Team Member Relations (TMR) department.
- Responsible for the successful onboarding of all new Team Members and Leaders within market/region.
BUSINESS SUPPORT
- Maintain a high level of business literacy about assigned client groups’ core function and culture.
- Supports HR Business Partners with talent management, workforce and succession planning, performance planning, and maintaining appropriate data.
- Maintain knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations related to EEO, affirmative action, collective bargaining, unions, labor relations, and human resources.
- Supports the consistent application, implementation and improvement of HR policies, processes, and programs. (i.e. merit and promotion planning, performance management, employee relations, career development, etc.)
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
- BA/BS/Bachelor’s Degree
- 1-3 years of related experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Collaboration with others for insights, improvements, and consistency across HGV
- Strong computer skills with ability to learn and adapt to new technology and platforms
- Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Thorough understanding of laws, regulations, and company guidelines or policies
- Demonstrated ability in handling confidential or sensitive information
It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- SHRM Certificate
- 3-5 years of related experience
- 1+ years of Supervisory experience
