The On- Call Cook plans, prepares and provides quality service in all areas of food production in accordance with standards, recipes and training. The Cook assists management in other job functions vital for increased sales and guest happiness.
Salary: $19.62 per hour
Schedule Details:
Our Food & Beverage Department operates 7 days per week. Kitchen Team Members work shifts ranging between 6:00am through 10:00pm. On-Call Team Members are generally scheduled 0-19 hours per week.
Additional Responsibilities Include:
- Prepare food items according to recipes, quality standards, production schedules and timelines to ensure guest happiness.
- Perform job functions at assigned workstation with attention to detail, speed and accuracy. Prioritize, coordinate, delegate work and follow through as needed.
- Operates kitchen equipment and maintains organization, cleanliness and sanitation of work & kitchen equipment.
- Maintain and address sanitation and safety practices in all workstations.
- Submit accurate requisition forms for daily food orders from storeroom. Transfer cases of received goods to the workstations.
- Assist Kitchen Manager and team members as needed.
- Follow departmental requirements on appearance and uniform standards.
- Provide outstanding customer service and maintain the highest standards of integrity when interacting with fellow team members, management, owners, members and prospects.
- May be required to perform other reasonable duties as requested by management.

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
- Two years of experience as a Cook in a similar culinary establishment and/or completion of formal culinary training or apprenticeship program.
- Valid Hawaii Food Handler’s Card.
- Must possess (or be able to acquire) Hawaii Dept. of Health Tuberculosis Clearance Certification.
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Previous hotel/hospitality culinary experience.
