Job Description
The Nursery Attendant monitors children in the play area in our Wilderness Club Kids Club
Responsibilities:
- Keeps children entertained by playing games, reading books, coloring, etc.
- Ensures the area is in a neat and orderly fashion and all equipment, games, toys, etc. do not present any hazard.
- Ensures each child is signed in and out by a parent or guardian.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Prior experience monitoring and entertaining children required.
- CPR/First Aid Certified preferred.
- Must be proactive, attentive, ability to maintain a safe environment for children and keep them entertained.
- Strong monitoring capabilities.
- Patient and calm personality.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with children, parents and co-workers.
- Ability to stand, kneel, walk and bend frequently.
- Most of all energetic and fun!
- *Weekend shifts required*
