Schedule Details: Our Security Department operates 7 days per week including holidays. Shifts range between 6:00 am through 11:00 pm. Upon hire, you will receive your schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Assists security and resort leadership in supervising security operations.
- May assist in preparing periodic budget estimates, reports, supply orders, or any reporting/records requested by leadership in a timely manner.
- Evaluates current procedures, practices and precedents for accomplishing activities and functions relative to security.
- Assists in the implementation, training and administration of automated security systems, maintains records and conducts periodic inspections.
- Conducts, supervises and prepares reports relating to investigations of injury, property loss/damage, violation of regulations, policies and procedures.
- Communicates effectively with leadership, insurance providers and others on incident reports using the computer systems provided.
- Assists security director in hiring, training, supervising, coaching, and documenting (CAF) all staff under the direction of the security leadership.
- Prepares work schedules, assigns or delegates responsibilities, and evaluates performance.
- Promotes safety awareness among all staff members adhering to loss prevention procedures and regulations.
- Maintains a positive cooperative work environment between staff and management.
- Adheres to and promotes company policies including but not limited to Standards of Conduct, Code Of Conduct, Attire and Appearance Guidelines, Harassment Free Workplace.
- Assists security leadership with training for all team members in loss prevention, fire, blood borne pathogens, and all other safety related topics.
- Ensures overall compliance with OSHA rules and regulations and maintains proper MSDS labeling and records.
- Carries out all reasonable requests or special projects by management.

- Completes all required Company training/compliance courses as assigned.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
To fulfill this role successfully, the individual should possess the following qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience:
- A minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of experience in the security field required.
- A minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience in the security field required.
- CPR/AED Certification (Adult, Infant, and Child Rescue).
- First Aid Certification.
- Driver’s License (non-commercial) – must be state/specific.
In addition, the following qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience are preferred:
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Proficient in time management; the ability to coordinate and prioritize.
- Ability to take initiative and effectively adapt to changes.
- Anticipates, identifies, and responds effectively to emergency situations.
- Able to use good judgment; work independently, with minimal direction.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Able to perform a wide range of duties, frequently shifting between tasks of varying complexity while meeting established deadlines.
- Performs well with frequent interruptions and/or distractions.
