Position Summary:
- To ensure financial data is accurately reported to the Resort Management, Area Managing Directors, Director of Business Operations and corporate offices for financial statement purposes.
- Oversee all financial, night audit and cash handling procedures across properties and ensure that they are all in compliance with corporate policies and procedures while leading a team of 7.
- Perform and Supervises accounting activities, month end processes, and payroll while providing financial analysis of all aspects of the resorts, homeowners associations, rentals and retail for varies South Carolina properties (Myrtle Beach, Charleston, and Hilton Head)
- Provides recommendations to upper management for reducing expenses and maximizing revenue.
- Drive all financial support for budgeting, planning, forecasting and analysis.
- Uphold our fiduciary duty to our owners by working closely with each General Manager and their respective HOA team.
- Prepare and draft operating budgets for all areas in support, track all monthly expenditures and monitor all financial aspects of the HOA as wells as Rental and Retail.
- Manage existing purchase contracts and orders to ensure completeness and accuracy, reflecting the latest requirements, terms and conditions and in compliance with company-supplier agreements, and with all governing regulations.
- Tracks contract renewal dates and reports information to GM and appropriate manager.
- Oversee customer care, particularly addressing guests’ billing inquiries and disputes. Ensuring excellent service and prompt resolution of any financial concerns is essential
- Work in tandem with Finance and Operations to plan and execute funding for all Capital Expenditures (Capex) and Reserves
Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree/Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance
- At least 3 years of related experience in Hotel or timeshare Finance Operations
- Minimum of 2 years of managerial or experience
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- 5 years of related experience
- 4+ years of managerial or experience
- Previous Resort finance Operations experience
- Proficiency with Accounting software (Oracle), Hyperion, Clarity, InfoGenesis
- Multi property experience
