Hilton Grand Vacations has a place for you. We are in search of an Assistant Director of Engineering to join the team at Laurel Crest and Mill Springs Lodge Resort in Pigeon Forge, TN.
The Assistant Director of Engineering will have a dual position supporting both properties In this position, you will Assist the Director of Engineering in coordinating programs involving electrical, mechanical, general construction, and repair and maintenance of existing facilities and equipment.

What will I be doing?
- Assigns, coordinates, and verifies completion of routine maintenance and operation of all mechanical, electrical, H.V.A.C systems and any other related equipment which gives to efficient and safe operations of the facility
- Visually inspects quality of work
- Act as the Director Engineer in absence of the Director in such capacities as hiring, counseling, and training
- Build productive and positive interdepartmental relationships
- Coordinate inspections of all elevators and escalators with the proper regulating agency.
- Works in conjunction with hotel managers and acts as a liaison between property and vendors to review latest in hotel technology and products
- Additional duties assigned by Management, as needed, to further business objectives to include but not limited to meeting attendance, managing contracts, budget management, special projects
Qualifications –
What are we looking for?
To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- 3+ years of engineering experience in hotels or related industry
- 4+ years of supervisory experience in the same or similar environment
- EPA – OSHA 10-30 – CPO certifications, (preferred but not required)
- HVAC – Electrical – plumbing specific, preferred
- Ability to write and speak English to comprehend and communicate job functions to engineering staff
- Valid Driver’s license
- Flexible Schedule
