Main Responsibilities:
- Plans, examines, analyzes, evaluates, and supervises security operations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate information for audits.
- Prepares reports and records for the management team and evaluates current procedures, practices and precedents for accomplishing activities and functions relative to security.
- Prepares periodic budget estimates and reports, orders supplies and equipment as needed.
- Supervises security personnel initiating personnel actions including recruitment, selections, transfers, promotions and discipline or dismissal, prepares work schedules, assigns or delegates responsibilities and evaluates performance.
- Conducts, supervises and prepares reports relating to internal investigations of any losses or violations of regulations, policies and procedures.
- Serves as liaison with public law enforcement, fire and other agencies as it relates to security.
- Ensures overall compliance with OSHA rules and regulations and maintains proper MSDS labeling and records.
- Carries out all reasonable requests or special projects by management of which the employee is capable of performing.
- Assists in implementing, training and administering automated security systems, maintains records and conducts periodic inspections.
- Coordinates training with regard to loss prevention, fire, blood-borne pathogens and all other safety topics related to all team members.
What are we looking for:
- 3+ years of related security experience is required.
- 2+ years of managerial/supervisory experience is required.
- Flexibility with availability and schedule with a 24/7 operation.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
- Guard Card
- Hotel or hospitality experience is preferred
- BA/BS/Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
