Purpose:
The position will emphasize the handling/collecting calls, while following all State and Federal Laws, assist owners with a general understanding of the terms and conditions related to their ownership and contracts, and perform all collection activity in accordance with company and Federal regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Collection activity that facilitates the maintenance of acceptable delinquency percentages as provided by financial management.
- Maintain required levels of phone activity, contact percentages, and other key performance indicators.
- Legally, ethically, and confidentially handle any correspondence and/or payments received.
- Maintain detailed and organized support documentation related to the handling of any owner account.
- Assist all members of collections staff with daily processes and procedures when required
- Takes inbound telephone calls on all delinquent owners within their respective queues and makes outbound calls based on business needs.
- Provide excellent customer service to our owners and assist with delinquent Maintenance Fees, reservations, and other owner issues as needed.
- Continually works to keep delinquency and defaults low to avoid setting off triggers established by investors/lenders that may have a negative financial impact on the company
- Maintains accurate banking and customer information in systems of record.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 3 years of collection experience.
- Basic collections policies and procedures, Knowledge of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
