LOCATION: Sint Maarten
HOURS: 40 per week
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Performs basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical repairs, painting and mechanical repairs.
Operates and repairs all resorts systems, tools and associated equipment and performs all tasks with “Safety” as the number one goal.
Recognizes possible safety hazards and reports them to the Chief of Facilities and/or Facilities Supervisors.
Performs routine, preventive maintenance, repairs and overhauls of all resort systems and associated equipment in areas of assigned work.
Responds to and ensures guest complaints, trouble calls and work orders are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Responsible for maintaining the monthly inventory of supplies and the Order Request File; including receiving, stocking and the distribution of supplies. Must be familiar with associated vendors and be able to identify replacement parts, materials and the necessary tools that need to be ordered for repairs and/or replacement.
Responds to Asgard assignments and documents any updates and completion.
Utilizes proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) daily.
Completes all required Company trainings and compliance courses as assigned.
Adheres to Company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Ability to safely handle and operate tools and equipment.
Able to work in areas of high heat and humidty.
Ability to remain alert when operating machines and tools.
Ability to recognize possible safety hazards.

Recognizes an emergency situation and takes appropriate action.
Able to establish and maintain a cooperative working relation.

Basic math skills.
