· Responsible for the preparation, distribution and variance review of monthly internal financial statements for multiple Locations.
· Develops and implements accounting policies and systems to record and control the operating entities, including setting up the accounting structure and designing key reporting requirements appropriate for the business.
· Manages the preparation and maintenance of multiple locations monthly variance reporting and analysis.
· Responsible for reconciliation and review of all general ledger accounts for all Canadian and US locations.
· Prepares and reviews all statutory tax filings and payments to ensure accuracy.
· Ensures intercompany roll up is accurate and that all inter-companies are reconciled.
· Ability to meet tight deadlines and shifting priorities under guidance.
· Responsible for managing and supervising the Finance Operations Team: Staff Accountants.
· Timely and accurate preparation of financial reporting.
· Management of effective internal controls.
· Timely and cost-effective completion of the audit and tax requirements.
· Recruits, trains and motivates staff.

· Completes all required Company training/compliance courses as assigned.
· Adheres to Company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures.

· Must be a qualified accountant at CPA level or equivalent; undergraduate degree with minimum four years post-qualification experience also required.
· Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills required.
· Advanced Excel financial modeling skills, including pivot tables, sorting, filtering, data manipulation, data mining and financial modeling.
· Experience in consolidation with multi-currencies required.
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work in fast paced multi-deadline environment.
· A strong team player with proven leadership skills and willingness to do whatever is necessary to get the job done.
· Experience in vacation ownership/timeshare/equity club or fractional real estate industry and relevant technical knowledge preferred.
