The Laundry Attendant will be responsible to clean and store resort linens in a timely, organized manner to ensure that hotel’s laundry and linen needs are met. Schedule Details:
Our housekeeping department operates 7 days per week. The shift will be varying between 8 am – 7 pm, shift starts either 8 am, 9am or 11am with 30 minutes breaktime
Additional Responsibilities Include:
- Receives soiled linen by bag or cart, sorts all articles by kind, color and degree of soil
- Inspects all laundry and linens and records all damaged or stained items.
- Operates washers and dryers according to recommended capacity and other manufacturers’ guidelines. Ensures necessary chemicals are added in
- the accurate quantities prior to wash cycles
- Folds clean linen and stores as appropriate
- Assist in daily linen counts for monthly inventories
- Informs supervisor of malfunctioning equipment
- Responds quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner. Follows up to ensure guest happiness
- Maintains the Laundry area clean and well organized
- Reports all lost and found items
- May be required to do other duties and special projects as assigned by housekeeping management
What are we looking for?

- 1+year of related experience
- Proficient English language communication
- Able to bend, stoop, walk and lift up 50 lbs and push/pull up to 150 lbs with or without accommodation
- Able to work in various weather conditions
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in the hotel laundry experience
