Reporting to the Head of Housekeeping, your main job duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting the daily operation of the department in the absence of the Manager and Deputy Manager
- Conducting daily inspections of units to ensure they meet our strict quality standards
- Playing a key role in the induction and training of new and existing team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and inclusion
- Mentoring new and existing team members, ensuring they understand and embody our company culture
- Ensuring the efficient use of products and materials by all team members, strictly following sustainability guidelines
- Leading by example at all times, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and continual improvement
- Being a great teammate, supporting your department and the resort as a whole
- Assigning accommodations to each team member
Skills and experience required to fulfil the role include:
- Previous experience in a team leader or supervisory role is crucial
- The ability to multi-task and work under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Computer literacy
- Motivational and negotiation skills are advantageous
- The ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
- A ‘can do’ and positive approach
The successful candidate will work three days a week, 24 hours total, including weekends and Bank Holidays, on a shift/rota basis.
