What Will I be Doing?
The Specialist Inventory Title is responsible for managing the entire title process when annexing new inventory into the different Trusts/Collection products. They will prepare and handle all title related items for all the Trusts products including, but not limited, to title searches, preparation of deeds and other documents to ensure no encumbrances, curing any title defects, working with third party vendors on transaction as well as support the inventory inbox inquiries along with other duties related to title within the department.
You are responsible for driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Possess/achieve in depth knowledge of real estate documents and all aspects of the title business. Preferable familiar with timeshare industry.
- Review and scrutinize all title searches, public records and documents received from vendors related to the inventory identified as part of the annexation process.
- Prepares deeds, exhibits and other necessary paperwork to ensure all the pieces of inventory identified to be pledged to the different Trusts are properly listed on the deeds.
- Responsible to verify all documents needed during the annexation process and ensure these are worked timely to ensure it completion before their established timeframe.
- Works closely with title companies to fix any title defects and other title related items.
- Support leadership with training material and training sessions with more complex jurisdictions such as CA and HI.
- Works closely with several CA Counties to ensure tax information is updated correctly in public records for Developer owned inventory.
- Assist leadership with complex title scenarios where additional items or documents needs to be completed to adequately convey clear title between all parties involved.
- Resolves title defects and records any satisfactions needed to existing liens against property or principals.
- Assist and cure title defects created by the Developer during the original sale process.
- Manage and handle all emails requests related to title inventory defects from other business partners.
- Audits pertinent information to ensure files follow underwriting guidelines, title, and financials requirements.
- Proficiently manage high transaction volume and deliver tasks within established timeframes in a fast paced, high-pressure environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service journey throughout Title process to all partners.
- Provide high production totals while maintaining a low error percent margin.
- Must be a committed and diligent standout colleague.
- Completes all required Company trainings and compliance courses as assigned.
- Conduct any reasonable request by management of which the employee can perform.

- 3-5 years demonstrated ability
- Must possess excellent organizational skills
- Must have good written & verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
- Enthusiastic teammate demeanor
- Must have MS Excel experience with creating and maintaining spreadsheets
In addition, the following qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience are preferred:
- 5-7 years Previous timeshare experience a plus
- Knowledge of the documents required for a timeshare closing
- Excel experience a plus
- Streamline and Simplifile experience a plus
