The Marina and Campground Manager works with the Resort Leadership to ensure overall supervision, coordination and implementation of guest activity programs, marina and campground operations. The Marina and Campground Manager operates with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision in the supervision of the overall Marina and Campground program. Complies with all state regulations to operate boating rentals, campground occupancy, fitness center, and to conduct all other Marina and Campground. - The Marina and Campground Manager is responsible for supervising all areas of the Marina and Campground Department across two separate disciplines: Marina operations and Campground operations. These tasks can include but are not limited to all aspects of staffing, programming, safety procedures, planning and implementing guest experiences which serve the purpose of entertaining our guests.
- Directly responsible for the hiring, coaching, and providing direction and guidance in the Marina and Campground department.
- Works with Resort Management in creating annual budgets outlining all revenues and expenses for the fiscal year. In coordination with the Assistant General Manager, updates forecast and justifies revenues and expenses monthly.
- Responsible for adhering to all cash handling procedures as designated by Standard Operating Procedures.
- Evaluates programs for effectiveness/participation and adapts programs as necessary.
- Continually seeks new and exciting programs and ideas to improve, expand and keep overall program.
- Monitors and evaluates Marina and Campground program content and prepares communication material (flyers, handouts, postings, etc.) to attract participants and promote program awareness and interest.
- Oversee the booking system for the Campground and its daily functions, which include financial reporting and arrival services.
- Assists in the marketing and yield management for the Campground operation.
- Works directly with the Resort Management for coordination of special functions.
- Maintains and orders Marina and Campground supplies and inventory.
- Ensures that the proper cleanliness and maintenance of all areas of responsibility.
- Oversees and determines the resolution of problems arising from campground owner/resort/marina guest concerns with a commitment to satisfying every owner/guest.
- Always provides outstanding guest/owner service.
- May be required to perform other reasonable duties as requested by management.

Key skills and experience:
- 2-3 years in supervisory experience in Marina management or 2-3 years of management experience in a related field.
- Ability to tolerate & work in outdoor temperatures and environment.
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Demonstrates excellence in service quality standards that affect guest satisfaction, responding to guests in a timely and professional manner.
- A courteous and professional demeanor must prevail when handling upset guests and difficult situations.
- Driver License Boaters License Boating Safety ID (MO) Fishing License
- 3-5 years related experience.
- Must be flexible to work variable shifts to include weekends and holidays
