Position Summary:
-
Advising on complex transactions involving drafting, analyzing and reviewing various finance documents as well as managing the process internally, providing day to day legal advice, updating templates, policies and processes and advising on business transactions to support the Company’s business and objectives.

Lead and drive legal compliance related to the company’s consumer and corporate lending policies, programs, training and controls and provide support and legal advice to company business partners regarding consumer financial products, mortgage servicing and origination including licensing, debt collection practices, ancillary products, and related financial services products.

Participate in Federal and state legislative and regulatory efforts to influence pending legislation, regulations, and other legal developments impacting consumer finance and privacy, and provide timely updates to business partners as needed.

Drive continuous improvement of standard forms and legal processes related to the company’s financial services.

Coordinate with outside counsel as needed.

Provide training to business partners on legal topics from time to time.

Perform other related duties in support of HGV Legal and the company’s goals.

Not a remote position. Must be able to work from Orlando office.
Required Qualifications:

Accurate and efficient computer skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and have an aptitude to learn new systems

Experience with securitizations and similar

Minimum of 4 years relevant experience

Doctorate Degree

License to practice law
