The Vice President of Sales is responsible for developing, directing, and leading the strategic Sales initiatives for the site team. In doing so, they will maintain inventory balance and achieve net sales volume, Volume per Guest and Closing Percentage metrics at target levels and higher on a consistent basis. A successful leader in this position will focus on tactical & strategic execution of sales plans by embracing the Hilton Grand Vacations culture and values while producing market leading returns.
Responsibilities Include:
- Lead the development and execution of an annual strategy to grow the sales volume and minimize cost in line with company objectives
- Obtain information and identifies key issues and relationships relevant to achieving a long-range goal or vision
- Anticipate risks and adjust quickly as the market evolves
- Partner with Business Management on various initiatives (budget process, financial review, goal setting, compensation plan development, monthly/quarterly/annual forecasting)
- Find ways to apply innovative ideas to enhance sales results-increase revenues, enhance customer experience, improve efficiencies and reduce cost
- Establish fluid business operations and a “One Team” methodology through constant communication with the sales team and the business as a whole.
- Coach, develop, empower, measure and mentor Direct Reports for future leadership positions and succession planning
- High School Diploma
- 10+ years related experience within vacation ownership sales
- 8+ years of leadership experience at the director level or higher
- Previous experience in a sales VP role
- Demonstrated ability to transform and maintain a highly engaged and positive culture.
- Experience in partnering with various functions to achieve client solutions
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing a P&L and budget
- Ability to travel as needed.
