Job Title – Corporate Accountant
Employer – Diamond Resorts (a subsidiary of Hilton Grand Vacations)
Location – Hybrid
Hours and shift pattern – The role requires the successful candidates to work Monday – Friday, 37 hours per week.
We are now recruiting for a Corporate Accountant for our Head Office on the outskirts of Lancaster city centre.
What will I be doing?
Initial duties will include:
Performing timely & accurate journal entries (including but not limited to accruals, prepayments and intercompany transactions)
Various balance sheet reconciliations, including banks.
Contributing to the monthly detailed review of group consolidated financials.
Assisting with the year end audit.
Maintaining Sarbanes Oxley compliant controls & documentation.
Working with the Corporate accounting manager to help identify where we can improve and streamline processes.
After successful integration into the team, the expectation is that additional tasks and responsibilities will be absorbed into the role.

- Performs other related duties as assigned.
What are we looking for?
To fulfill this role successfully, the individual should possess the following qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities and experience:
- A part qualified Accountant, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or AAT (or part qualified by experience)
- Strong excel skills (ability to work with large volumes of data, performing vlookups & pivot tables)
- Experience using financial accounting software (eg Oracle Cloud or similar)
- A self-starter with good attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with management and staff across different departments.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive and collaborative attitude.
In addition, the following qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience are preferred:
- Experience of working in a multi-national organisation is preferable but not essential.
