A Sales Training Manager plans and executes the training of new Sales Executives and assists in closing to acquire maximum closing percentage while maintaining Hilton Grand Vacations’ quality standards.
What will I be doing?
As a Sales Training Manager you would be responsible for executing your position’s responsibilities in alignment with our Spirit of Service culture and driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Manages, trains and develops all Sales Executives and Sales Management.
- Develops/coaches individuals in an ongoing process, to ensure dedication and understanding of the sales process.
- Participates in the on-line learning system process from beginning to end and continues promotion to drive users on a consistent basis.
- Conducts, schedules and ensures all participants are in the 60-Day and 90-Day Review.
- Assists in closing sales for Sales Executives.
- Performs release rides of all new hires and approves graduation from training.
- Provides ongoing training to support new hires go further into the closing sequence themselves as their abilities develop, which allows more time for sales closing support to those who truly need assistance on the table.
- Meets weekly with designated team members for the purpose of training, motivating and team building.
- Performs sales rides within 45-60 days after graduating training and turns in ride reports to leadership immediately following each ride.
- Participates in sales meetings, training sessions, and other meetings as the need arises.
- Conducts one-on-one after tour/sales conference with Sales Executives after T.O. assistance to point out helpful suggestions.
- Trains Auxiliary T.O.’s and Managers to include formal T.O. training programs and ride-alongs.
- Ensures the Sales staff’s understanding, dedication and adherence to all sales policies and procedures.
- Partners and meets regularly with sales management to provide training feedback on Sales Executives. Takes direction from senior management to assist in sales areas of critical need.
- Fosters an environment of outstanding guest service for our owners, guests and team members.
- Builds a team environment that accomplishes and supports the “Mission Statement” for the Company as a whole, including policies, procedures and philosophies.
- Works individually with Sales Executives on performance related issues.
- Ensures the delivery of new hire sales training to include product knowledge, “The Art of Sales”, “How to Succeed”, Ethical Selling, Customer Service and Closing the Sale
- Carries out all reasonable requests by management of which the team member is capable of performing.
