The Bilingual Sales Training & Development Manager (Japanese/English) is responsible for the analysis, development, and facilitation of consistent training materials to support brand standards, as well as the needs of the International Sales teams. The Training Manager will participate in the development and training of new and existing sales staff.

- Salary is based on bonuses governed by a compensation plan. This position has base annual earnings of $102,000 per year and targeted annual earnings of $170,000, with some Team Members earning substantially more based on their individual performance.

Additional Responsibilities Include:

Build and define the annual strategic training plan for Sales to exceed the company’s objectives. Develop and maintain training curriculum and materials and improve overall results.

Lead all training projects; responsible for crafting project timelines, aligning resources, and meeting achievements as required in a timely manner.

Create and manage the training budget to ensure cost efficiency and secure resources needed for training and development.

Consult with on-site leadership teams to regularly identify training needs in order to build just in time training solutions. Perform analysis to identify gaps and implement training initiatives and apply effective measurement tools (e.g. surveys, assessments, and performance metrics) to determine the efficiency of training solutions, and present improvement strategies to management.

Mentor sales team members to improve their overall sales performance through one-on-one counseling, classroom modules, ride-alongs, and study materials. Conduct training sessions and ongoing development sessions for training staff and site management.

Deliver and ensure that New Hires are properly trained and understand Company culture and guidelines to aid in successful acclimation to Hilton Grand Vacation’s values, cultures, and performance goals. Present curriculum with consideration to adult learning needs and industry norms to enhance comprehension and retention of materials and information.

Partner with Sales Management to attract and retain talent and build an environment that fosters a dedication to the training and development of Team Members.

Support training initiatives at other HGV sales galleries, including those on neighbor islands.

Additional tasks as assigned by Management, as needed, to promote business objectives.
Qualifications

At the core of our company’s success are our Team Members! To fulfill this role successfully, you will have the following minimum qualifications and experience:

Minimum of 2 years in Sales, working with Action and In-House lines and/or a training environment.

Minimum 1 year of team member management and/or experience leading a team as a Sales Leader / TO Sales Closer.

Experience training and/or coaching others to enhance results.
-
Positive relationship skills and the ability to lead key partners across teams.
-
High school diploma or equivalent.
- Fluency in Japanese (reading/writing/speaking) and Proficiency in English (reading/writing/speaking).
-
Flexible work schedule required; including weekends, evenings, and holidays as business needs require. Ability to travel 25% of schedule as needed.
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

5 years of experience within a branded timeshare organization, working with Action and In-House lines and/or a training environment.

BA/BS/Bachelor’s Degree.

Active Hawaii Real Estate license.
