What will I be doing?
As a Pool Server, you will be responsible for providing food and alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages to guests following the company sequence of service. You will have strong guest and fellow team member engagement and ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Additional Responsibilities Include:
- Greet all guests in the Pool area. Provide options for seating to guest, as necessary. Must have strong presence on the outlet floor at all times.
- Provide food and alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages to guests and refill drinks in a timely manner according to Hotel’s standards.
- Set and reset table and dining area according to Hotel standards.
- Communicate orders, questions, and service needs to the kitchen staff by placing orders. This includes communication of any allergies, dietary requirements, rush orders, etc.
- Adhere to all cash handling and credit policies and procedures; close out checks and ensure collection of proper payment method from guest.
- Effectively communicate with guest on orders and upsell food & beverage items as appropriate.
- Maintain knowledge of all menu items, liquor brands, beer and wine selection and non-alcoholic drinks available.
- Maintain complete knowledge of table/seat/section numbers, proper table set ups, hours of operation, dress code and other standard operational information.
- Complete daily opening, closing, and/or running side work throughout each scheduled shift.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, dining/service areas, and storage areas.
- Maintain strong guest and fellow team member engagement.
- Perform all other reasonable tasks as assigned.

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age to meet State of Hawaii Liquor Commission laws to serve alcoholic beverages.
- Must possess (or be able to obtain) a valid State of Hawaii Liquor Commission bartender’s card.
- Must possess (or be able to obtain) Hawaii Dept. of Health Tuberculosis Clearance Certification.
- Proficient in the English language to communicate both verbally and in writing
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Previous hospitality, serving and/or hotel experience. Previous luxury hotel experience highly desired.
- CPR/First Aid/AED Certification
- Ability to speak a second language.
