Located on the north end of the Las Vegas Strip, our 1228-room resort boasts large multi-bedroom suites and a stunning design! As the Director, you will supervise the aquatics and security departments, resort’s safety, security, fire protection, surveillance, investigations, and safety programs to safeguard the company’s corporate and timeshare sites.

Main Responsibilities:
- Lead Security and Aquatics Team.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of claims management activities at the resort level to minimize direct or indirect costs to the timeshare association.
- Provide technical and project management services for related (CCTV, locks, access control, fire safety, asset protection) system improvement/upgrade projects for new and existing resorts.
- Manage terrorism response to increase threat levels.
- Coordinate crisis management programs with BCM.
- Develop and Implement emergency procedures and training.
- Direct Resort Safety & Security review program with appropriate follow-up reports, benchmarking and recommendations to Risk Management and Resort Operations.
- Direct risk assessment studies of selected locations and provide report writing guidance and compliance.
- Determine security and aquatics staffing needs and assist with the recruiting, selecting, hiring, training, and developing of resort security managers.
- Responsible for HR related tasks for both security and aquatics team members, including scheduling, payroll verification, coaching, discipline, career development.
- Work with area managers on goals to assist in accomplishing department initiatives, and their own career objectives.
- Work closely with Hilton Worldwide Safety & Security team to maintain compliance and new training initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with Federal, State and local requirements including OSHA and fire/life safety statutes and regulations for assigned hotels.
- Assess actual performance against standards to determine whether the department is on target to reach its goals and takes corrective actions as vital.
- Assist in prosecution efforts resulting from covert surveillance or investigations.
- Other duties as assigned.

What we are looking for:
To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 7 years of related safety and security experience
- 5+ years of Director level experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Demonstrated ability to direct collaborative efforts with strong communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and identify strategic opportunities.
- Timeshare or Hospitality Industry experience (3+ years)
- Ability to travel up to 20%
It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Master’s Degree
- 10+ years of related experience
- Previous 6+ years of Director level leadership experience.
- Knowledge of Spanish
