The National Director, Package Sales (Retail, FPS, GWL) is responsible to drive the planning and processes that achieve the overall success of marketing targets and will work closely with SVP, VP’s and DOM’s to drive initiatives, ensure consistent training is provided and system functionality maximized allowing marketing representatives to be well-trained and equipped to service all owners and guests. This position will collaborate with Business Operations, Business Analytics, IT, HR, Club Services, Legal, and Creative to ensure all systems, processes, compensation, reporting and collateral are maintained and maximized to attain penetration goals, package productions. The National Director will play a key role in interfacing with sales teams and site leaders to align brand, culture and best practices among all regional site locations
Position Summary
- Promote the HGV Mission, Vision and Values in all matters of Retail/FPS/GWL operations (i.e. materials, formats, and approaches to marketing learning).
- Develop and drive Retail/FPS/GWL initiatives that support Hilton Grand Vacations (HGV) corporate priorities and national objectives.
- Build operations and training strategies in partnership with SVP of Marketing and respective regional management teams to execute and increase overall package production and hours per package to the company.
- Operationalize standard procedures for Retail/FPS/GWL operations and design new strategies and tools to enhance efficiencies for the nation as well as regional specific needs.
- Ensures proper reporting and analytics are available to allow SVP and VP’s to have insight into achieving set targets by locations for team members and as an organization overall.
- Partners with Business Operations on budget and reforecasting to ensure programs are developed to meet or exceed targets.
- Collaborate with Corporate resources and partner with regional marketing leaders to ensure quality control of the branded Retail/FPS/GWL process.
- Act as liaison with the strategic alliance team initiatives for Retail, Field Package Sales and Great Wolf Lodge to ensure alignment and business continuity.
- Oversees performance management and works closely with Retail/FPS/GWL management on recruiting and retention plans.
- Conducts Retail/FPS audits to ensure all locations are in compliance and consistent in terms of targets, compensation, presentation, etc.
- Manages Retail/FPS/GWL Marketing Regional Trainers including recruiting, training, scheduling and management.
- Work in partnership with Corporate marketing training to develop the most comprehensive Retail/FPS/GWL tools available to the vacation ownership industry.
- Establish a consistent approach and identify synergies between Retail, FPS and GWL for delivering onboarding and initial “steps of the sale” training programs.
- Create and produce regionalized training and learning tools for key Retail/FPS positions on leadership and location Retail/FPS management.
- Responsible for rollout coordination of Retail/Marketing initiatives as it relates to training and education including LMS training and learning sessions.
- Partner with Human Resources to identify and develop potential leaders to become ready-now talent to fill future openings.
- Communicate through established protocol data and feedback to Retail/FPS/GWL leaders and key stakeholders identifying areas for improvement of the sales journey.
- Constantly evaluates compensation to ensure key metrics are awarded as business evolves. Works closely with HR to determine best approach and guidelines.
- Develop innovative digital tools to enhance learning and communication with team members for Marketing updates, projects, and new initiatives.
- Interfaces with IT to further ensure the most efficient, up-to-date technology is being utilized allowing team members to spend more time servicing and booking guests and owners.
- 2+ years proven successful track record of directing a sales division or department
- Experience gained through increasingly responsible management positions within vacation ownership sales
- Strong relationship skills and the ability to manage key stakeholders across disciplines
- Experience facilitating and collaborating with groups or teams within an organization
- Experience training and/or coaching others to maximize results
- Must have a customer centered focus and a positive demeanor
- Possesses a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office 3+ years proven successful track record of directing a sales division or department in a branded vacation ownership organization
- 3-5 years of Related Management Experience
- 3+ years years of management or supervisory experience
- High school/GED
- Preferred:BA/BS/Bachelor’s Degree License/ Certificates
Valid and current State of Hawaii Real Estate License
