What Will I be Doing?
The Cook I plans, prepares, sets up and provides quality service in all areas of food production for menu items and specials in the designated outlet(s) in accordance with standards, recipes and training. The Cook maintains organization, cleanliness and sanitation of work & kitchen equipment. The Cook maintains daily production schedules and assists management in other job functions necessary for increased sales and guest satisfaction. Commitment and dedication to our Inspired Hospitality culture is expected to be displayed towards members, owners, guests and team members at all times.
You are responsible for driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Prepare food items according to recipes, quality standards, production schedules and timelines to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Perform job functions at assigned workstation with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.
- Comprehend and follow all recipes.
- Work with all products and food ingredients involved.
- Operate, clean and maintain all kitchen equipment.
- Maintain good coordination of food production.
- Prioritize, organize, delegate work and follow through as required.
- Maintain and address sanitation and safety practices in all workstations.
- Submit proper requisition forms for daily food orders from storeroom.
- Transfer cases of received goods to the workstations.
- Follow departmental requirements on appearance and uniform standards.
- Assist Kitchen Manager and team members as needed.
- Provide superior customer service.
- Maintain compliance with all required food handling, cleanliness and disinfection standards with both company policies and local health department guidelines and regulations.
- Maintain the highest standards of professionalism when interacting with fellow team members, management, owners, members and guests.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
What Are We Looking For:

To fulfill this role successfully, the individual should possess the following qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience:
- 0-3 Years related experience
- Physically demanding requirements that require the ability to bend, lift up to 60 lb., reach overhead, climb, sit, stand, walk, push, pull and move about the work area of limited space without special accommodations.
- Moderate noise, outdoor weather conditions, high places, extreme heat and/or cold.
- Serv Safe Certification
